BODYWORK - STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION - ROLFING® & KMI™

There are different types of body work called structural integration. One of these is Rolfing®, a specific kind of structural integration technique which involves hands on therapy to lengthen and loosen—stretching and moving the connective tissue to balance the body along its natural, vertical axis. Another type is called KMI™ taught by Thomas Myers, a Rolfer® who deveoped a theory of Anatomy Trains or myofascial meridians which focuses not on individual muscles but on the connections of muscles and tissues within and across the body.
