NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE
Naturopathic medicine treats health conditions by utilizing the body’s inherent ability to heal. It involves a variety of therapies including diet,
herbs, homeopathy, hydrotherapy and more. There are six basic principles to
Naturopathic medicine: to work with the healing power of nature; to treat the
cause rather than the effect; to first, do no harm; to treat the whole person;
to have the physician be a teacher; and that prevention is the best cure. The
Naturopathic doctors in the Upper Valley all practice Family Medicine/Whole
Family care.
